[edit] Midtown Atlanta talk page

Hello, welcome to Wikipedia. As you are new to WP, you are probably unaware, but it is against WP guidelines to edit other members' comments on article talk pages. If, as in this case, you disagree with what a person said, you make your own comment to present your case.

As to the boundaries for Midtown, do you have a source to support your assertion (and article change) that the Beltline represents the eastern boundary of Midtown? Verifiable reliable sources are the basis for all article content on Wikipedia and especially for changes that are controversial or likely to be challenged, you should cite the source for your addition. If you look at the boundaries according to the Midtown Neighbors Association (www.midtownponce.org) it includes the area between the (future Beltline) and Monroe Drive... In fact that part of Midtown (Monroe Circle, St Charles and St Charles west of the Beltline, and Seal Place) is known locally as "Old Midtown" - so Midtown does go past Monroe but just a little bit. My source of information is having lived in the neighborhood since the 1980's and having served on several civic organizations... Also the Midtown Ponce Security Alliance considers Old Midtown to be part of Midtown... Virginia Highlands starts on the other side of the Beltline.
