THanks...how do i do that, the template exist already. How would i add just the link to the template —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Etittle1978 (talkcontribs) 13:42, 9 August 2007.

Thanks —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Etittle1978 (talkcontribs) 14:00, 9 August 2007.

[edit] Request to add link

Autigier, I added an external link to http://clubfly.com/gaybars/30309-atlanta-GA/ (Midtown gay bars and clubs) which you found inappropriate. As Midtown is well known as a gay village, I think this is a great free resource. This is not spam, I've run this resource since November 1995 and the site has never ran an ad in 2 years. It's a hobby. I walked around Midtown and took all the pictures of the bars you see on the map personally. I hope you might consider my link to be reincluded. Thank you talk—Preceding unsigned comment added by Kerryinusa (talkcontribs) 22:47, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Delta pilot

Thank you very much for your answer! do you know if and how it´s possible to become Delta pilot? You are living in Atlanta, so I hope you know more. Dagadt —Preceding comment was added at 17:38, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] past tense

In some sentences it seems fine to says "is an award winning show created by so-and-so" but if you look at countless TV shows that have already ended, that I have not edited, you will see the show referred to in past tense. Obviously I'm not planning on saying which ones but I looked around and found some. It seems odd to have a sentence reading for example "Cheers is a tv show that took place in Boston" How can you use past and proper tense in the same sentence and it's correct? I found a few like that once I started looking.Obriensg1 (talk) 06:03, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

I shamelessly copied some of the structure of your user page when setting up the rough first version of mine. If this offends you, let me know and I'll rework it. 22:22, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Auburn LSU Rivalry

Hey, I tried to put the first reference on this page and I do not believe it has the necessary coding to allow such. I tried using common codes I found on other articles, but none seem to have done the trick. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdlawmba (talkcontribs) 23:57, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Appropriateness?

Hey AUTiger, curious as to your thoughts on an article chronicling the longest active winning streak in D-IA? Is that tacky since my alma mater is the current holder?

Thoughts? Thanks Dawginroswell (talk) 23:02, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your help and direction in making certain that I include an edit summary. I am fairly new to this, and want my actions to be as circumspect as the corrections/revisions that I offer.

[edit] Think Fast

I saw that you attempted to delete the information on the Greater Metropolitan Atlanta Transit. If you pay attention to the wording. It says the service is proposed. You tried to delete it stating "There's no agency". Meaning you must tried to do some research on the system. But if it's proposed you wouldn't be able to find any info on it. So, next time before you try to delete something that you're unsure about. Don't.

-The Guy Who Works at MARTA —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aquariuslove (talkcontribs) 17:22, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, but any public transit proposals are covered by the press since they will need public funding, and yet, there has been no press coverage at all of this supposed proposal. If there are no Verifiable, reliable sources for information, it cannot be included in Wikipedia. AUTiger » talk 23:22, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

I've been working in public transportation for years and I know what i'm talking about. This meeting just passed. And for your records and new mental note. The only public transportation systems that need "public" funding are the ones owned and operated by the public. This system is privately owned. If you need examples I can give you atleast 50 for you to "GOOGLE

-Once again, The Guy Who Works At MARTA and has been for the past decade. Aquariuslove (talk) 02:08, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

How long you've worked at MARTA doesn't matter. What matters is the existence of this fictional GMAT. So, which is it? First the article you wrote implied that it was a public-public transportation system and certainly didn't make it clear it was private (as it should, since the vast majority of US public transit is publicly-funded). If it is a private company, what is this meeting that just passed and what does it matter? Passed by whom? Either a private company is capitalized and operating or it's not; "planning to" doesn't matter if nobody (i.e. the public via press) knows. If this new private public transportation ever starts and becomes notable and is written about by reliable sources, then it can become the subject of a properly written article, like, for instance Royal Bus Lines. The only Googling that matters is that which proves the existence and notability of the supposed GMAT you wrote the article about. AUTiger » talk 05:00, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ethnicity in biography articles: John Corigliano

In addition to Wikipedia not being able to cite itself per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies): "Ethnicity should generally not be emphasized in the opening unless it is relevant to the subject's notability." Hyacinth (talk) 02:48, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks; that is a helpful guideline reference as well. It was an odd sort of thing for someone to make an effort adding to all those articles. AUTiger » talk 04:44, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sorry if the links didn't seem right

At the time both pages links seemed very vanilla, so thought about pointing to magazine sites for them. Did not seem to violate WP rules, as they did contain info on both subjects that were copyrighted and therefore unable to be added directly to the articles themselves. I also made sure they were sites that, while offering registration, did not require it in order to read the articles. I'll be more selective next time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Downix (talkcontribs) 14:02, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Hello, I just left a note at Talk:Auburn-LSU rivalry. I'm wondering if everyone is happy enough with the neutrality of the article so that the NPOV tag can come off. Thanks, Johntex\talk 02:35, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Space Camp

From Talk:SpaceCamp "In the future, a full entry for U.S. Space Camp should be created and the movie content moved to a SpaceCamp (movie) entry with this page converted to a disamb. page. Autiger 02:15, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)"

"U.S. Space Camp" is properly named simply "Space Camp". I am with you on renaming the movie article to "SpaceCamp (movie)". Does it make sense to also rename "U.S. Space Camp" to "Space Camp (camp)"?
