[edit] trivial concert coverage

I'm moving the following quote here for discussion:

"The band O.A.R., along with Augustana and Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers, has been playing Midnight Rider in concert since August 10th[1]"

In my opinion, this is too trivial to mention; the number of bands that play the song at their concerts probably numbers in the hundreds, if not thousands. I think the article should limit itself to actual official releases, to avoid turning into a list article (which is a danger in any case, given that this is the Allman's most covered song). Arguments for or against my position can be posted here, but please keep in mind that this is an encyclopedia, not a fan site. Xtifr tälk 13:17, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Trivial content in popular music articles? In Wikipedia?? I'm shocked! Yes, this is waaay too trivial to include. Wasted Time R 14:30, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
