Talk:Midland Football League

[edit] Does this have a website?

I was wondering whether this football league has a website for it. I find it very difficult in finding more information about this league. Perhaps users living in England has more knowledge about this league? --Siva1979Talk to me 02:17, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Hi Siva, it would appear that this league and the Staffs County League have amalgamated to form the Staffs County Senior League, with the Midland League forming the Premier Division. Have a look at [1]. Mind you, they still seem to use the Midland League name for the top division, interchangably with the SCSL Premier name....very confusing.... The league rules only mention the Staffordshire County Senior League, so can this article be moved there, so the title "Midland League" can be opened up so I can write an article on the Midland League that existed prior to 1982 and became part of the Northern Counties East League. - fchd 17:27, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I plan to do that later today. I've also sent an e-mail to the guy who maintains the SCSL website to confirm the exact status of the Midland League ChrisTheDude 06:50, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
