Mid-Continent University is a four-year, liberal arts Christian institution located in Mayfield, Kentucky. The University offers both two and four year degrees in a variety of majors, all with a Christian world view. Mid-Continent University's Elementary Education Program has ranked in Kentucky's top three in recent years. Also, their athletic department continues to maintain success in NAIA and NCCAA competition. The school has grown rapidly in the past sixteen years, now with enrollment over 1,800. In May of 2007, Mid-Continent University named former college and NBA basketball star Winston Bennett the head coach of its men's basketball program.
