Talk:Microsoft Codename "Jasper"

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think Dynamic ADO.NET would be a more suitable title for the article. Codenames are hard to remember and they don't describe what they stand for. --Stefán Örvarr Sigmundsson (talk) 16:38, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

While Dynamic ADO.NET is indeed another name for this, it is almost always referred to as Jasper in Microsoft documentation and a large chunk of the web uses this codename as well, making it the most suitable title (per WP:NAME - use the most common usage). Plus Dynamic ADO.NET is not confirmed to be the shipping title. So, I do not see any need to change the title right away. Its not as if this article is unplottable - the navigation templates are very well developed, and I have created the redirect. --soum talk 17:01, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
