Mick Boogie, born Mick Batsyke in Youngstown, Ohio, is an American DJ and mixtape composer.

Mick Boogie and grew up in Poland, Ohio. His interest in music began at an early age. He learned to play the piano and the drums through school programs. His hiphop career began when his mother purchased a turntable for him. In 1996, he enrolled in John Carrol University and has since earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in marketing from the university. While studying, Mick worked as a radio DJ for WJCU 88.7, and later two FM stations: Columbus' Power 107.5 and Cleveland's Z107.9.
