Wow, this article makes Merville sound like Vancouver Island's version of Dog River (as in "Corner Gas"). I can tell you that Greyhound.ca [Greyhound recently purchased Vancouver Island's Laidlaw bus company] shows Merville as the next main stop after Courtenay on the Campbell River bus route, 20 minutes up the road; also, Greyhound would like to reduce service from the present minimum 4 trips a day each way to minimum 2 trips a day each way. Not sure how Wikipedia wants this article cleaned up.... maybe more like the Comox or Courtenay articles? Claire Parksville
