Mengyao Zhou was a Chinese American Stanford University graduate who died in her car.

The local police office believed she died of suicide, while her family strongly oppose this estimation and turned to some local groups and persons such as Henry Lee to find evidence otherwise.

The second autopsy report findings concluded homicide as the cause of death. The details of the second autopsy has not been released to the public due to current investigation.^{[citation needed]}
