[edit] His record
UFC has him at 37 or 40 wins if I remember correctly. MMAfan2007 18:20, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- What I have been able to verify, his pro record is 20-6-2. I was only able to come across two other fights of his, one was an amateur fight against Diego Saraiva, the other was his TUF fight against Burkman. After a lot of digging I can't find where they could have got that many extra fights from. Thesaddestday 23:36, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
That's what I was wondering, UFC is the only source that has him at like 40 wins. They must be mistaken. So for now on should we just use Sherdog? MMAfan2007 18:35, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- I think it takes a little researching to get it right and not just go to sherdog every time. Occasionally an amateur fight slips through (i.e. they list Guillard's fight with Saraiva), and sometimes they count fights that shouldn't be (i.e. Kimbo Slice vs. Ray Mercer; I know we are arguing it, but that fight aside keep in mind it is not the only exhibition on sherdog). And last, sometimes their method of finishing the fight is slightly off from what is officially announced. But in any case, they are pretty accurate and most of the mistakes can be corrected from other reliable sources. If there is nothing conflicting with the information given by sherdog then I think it is reliable enough to use. Thesaddestday 23:18, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
