Melksham railway station serves the town of Melksham in Wiltshire, England. It is on the branch line from Chippenham to Trowbridge that was originally part of the Wilts, Somerset and Weymouth Railway, absorbed in 1850 by the Great Western Railway. The station opened in 1847. It was closed in 1966 under the Beeching Axe, but reopened in 1985.[1] Melksham station is served by just two trains a day each way, operated by First Great Western.
