Melangadi

Melangadi is a small town near to Calicut Airport and Kondotyy town in Malappuram District. The name came since it is located on a small hill just half killometer away from kondotty. In Malayalam the term "Mele" means "Up" and "Angadi" means town, and hence the name Melangadi. Most of the families in this area are muslims and they are well educated too.
