Ambalangadan

Ambalangadan is the name of an ancient Muslim family in Kerala. They were landlords and merchants who lived in the northern region of Kerala. More than hundred families live in the Melangadi area near Calicut Airport. At least one person from each family work in the middle east. Most of the family members are well educated and some of them are govt. employed too.
