Mel Angelstad (born October 31, 1971 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) is a professional ice hockey player. He is the first player to wear the number 69 in National Hockey League history. He only played two games in the NHL, both coming in the 2003–04 NHL Season with the Washington Capitals.
Midway into the 2007 AIHL season, Angelstad signed with the Adelaide Avalanche, making it their fifth import player. He has signed to play out the remainder of the season.
