| Description |
Graphs to show the correlation between fluorescence and temperature during melting-curve analysis. The second graph shows the negative first derivative, making it slightly easier to pin-point the dissociation temperature (defined as temperature of 50% dissociation). The three graphs show the expected outcome for a reaction containing wild-type sequence, to which a labeled-probe binds fully, mutated sequence, and a mixture of both (representing homozygous and heterozygous situations respectively).
