Meherpur is a district in South-western Bangladesh. It is a part of the Khulna Division.

Meherpur district has several cottage industries which include weaving, garments, bamboo work, goldsmith, blacksmith, potteries, wood work and welding.

Chilli, jute, tobacco, mango, banana, sweet potato, kachu, sugarcane molasses.

Cultivable land 465.82 km², fallow land 1.65 km²; single crop 13%, double crop 70% and triple crop17%; land under irrigated 63%.
