Meego

Meego was a 1997 science fiction comedy that aired on CBS. It starred Bronson Pinchot in the title role. Meego was a 9,000-year-old shape-shifting alien from the planet "Marmazon 4.0" who winds up living with a human family after his ship crashes. Meego does not want anyone to know that he is extraterrestrial, and tells people he is from Canada instead.
The show also starred Jonathan Lipnicki and Michelle Trachtenberg. Jaleel White reprised his role as Steve Urkel for 2 guest spots.
CBS canceled the show after six episodes aired.
The family had a father but a mother was not present.

- Edward Parker frequently wore a shirt that said "A2+B2=C2 - NOT!" (after the Pythagorean theorem).
- Three cast members of Gilligan's Island, Bob Denver, Dawn Wells and Russell Johnson, had a guest appearance on an unaired episode titled Mommy 'n' Meego.
- The Illinois late night public-access program Dr. Mysterio frequently made references to the show, normally in a running gag in which someone would always confuse the show with Mork & Mindy or think the Mego Corporation was being mentioned.
