Frungi ([ˈfrɐnʤi]—rhymes with bungee) originated as an accidental misspelling of Frungy, the name of a fictional “sport of kings” from the Star Control video games. I first used it as a screenname when I began playing StarCraft online, thanks to my best friend who was fairly obsessed with Star Control II at the time, and now I use it everywhere on the Internet, except on the Verizon blogs where a retired Marine uses it.

If any of my editing efforts have to be reverted, or if I ever offend anyone, please tell me, and tell me why, so that I won’t make the same mistake again. Nothing I do is done with the intent to harm any articles or any people; if you disagree, I beg you to let me know.
