Medical Missionary Society of China

The Medical Missionary Society of China was a Protestant Christian medical missionary society begun in 1837 that was involved in sending physicians and surgeons to China during the late Qing Dynasty[1]. The founder and first president was Dr. Thomas Richardson Colledge.
