Media Capital SGPS, SA, is a Portuguese media corporation founded in 1988 (still named SOCI - Sociedade de Comunicação Independente*), based in Oeiras, Lisbon. Media Capital is the most important media group in Portugal, and is one of the biggest media corporations in Europe. Grupo PRISA has acquired Media Capital, and soon their activities will be merged.
