[edit] problem in article with location/measurement
Under "Presentation" the article states: 'Meckel's diverticulum is located in the distal ileum, usually within about 60-100 cm of the ileocecal valve.' I suspect centimetres is not the correct unit of measurement here, unless we are discussing a lifeform the size of a small country. Not being a medical person, I don't know what is correct.
