[edit] Help needed on Pingree Road Metra station
Since you live in McHenry County, I could use some help for a proposed article I'm working on about the Pingree Road (Metra) station. Here's my sandbox, so that you or I could clear up any innacuracies before I send it out to it's intended red link.
My questions are;
- Is this really a whole new station as Metra claims on their website, or is it a rebuilt one?
- Somewhere I've read there's supposed to be a connection between this station and the Illinois Railway Museum, but I'm not sure of just how much of a connection there is, because I completley forgot where I found this out. Does the IRM run tourist trains near Pingree Road? Is there a charter bus between the two points? What's the deal with this?
