Mayer State Park

Mayer State Park is a state park in the Columbia River Gorge, near Rowena, Oregon. It consists of several disjointed portions on both sides of Interstate 84 and the Union Pacific Railroad's Portland Subdivision.

The Rowena Loops

The southwesternmost piece includes the Rowena Loops, a series of horseshoe curves that take the Historic Columbia River Highway (U.S. Route 30) down from Rowena Crest (where there is an overlook) to the village of Rowena.
