[edit] Transmitter Problems

Max TV's transmittor to Colombo is based in Weliveriya, Sri Lanka. As Weliveriya is far from the main city of Colombo and the capital of Sri Jayawardenapura, viewers is those areas are unable to receive the Max TV signal very well. This results in bad reception in the Colombo district of Sri Lanka.

However, there are reports that Max TV tower is being relocated to Colombo from Weliweriya in order to provide a better reception to Colombo viewers.
