Matt Harrison (baseball)

Matthew Reid Harrison (born August 16, 1985 in Durham, North Carolina) is a minor league baseball pitcher in the Texas Rangers farm system. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 205 pounds, Harrison bats and throws left-handed. Entering 2007, he was rated by Baseball America as the No. 3 prospect in the Braves organization. He currently plays for the Double-A Frisco RoughRiders.

On July 30, 2007, Harrison, along with Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Neftali Feliz and Beau Jones and Elvis Andrus, was traded to the Texas Rangers for Mark Teixeira and Ron Mahay prior to the 2007 trade deadline.
Harrison threw a no-hitter for Double-A Frisco.
