Matt Gafa, born 31st August, 1978 in Canberra, is an Australian rugby league player.

Gafa plays for Harlequins RL in the European Super League.

Matt Gafa's position of choice is as a centre. He can also operate on the wing. In 2007 he has moved into the forwards in the second row, and has also operated at loose-forward. In the past he has also operated in the stand off role.

Gafa is a Maltese international.

He has previously played for the Canberra Raiders in the NRL and has also played in France.[1]

Gafa is the leading try-scorer in 2008 running in 4 tries in the opening two rounds of the engage Super League.[2]
