Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, born 14th January, 1986 in Lewisham, London, is an English rugby league player.
McCarthy-Scarsbrook plays for Harlequins RL in the European Super League.
Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook's position of choice is as a prop.
He is a product of the Quins RL Junior Academy squad. McCarthy-Scarsbrook toured Australia with BARLA U18s in 2004.
McCarthy-Scarsbrook has made appearances for the Quins and also spent the 2005 season on loan at Hull FC's Senior Academy, and played a prominent role in Hull's reserve grade Grand Final winning season.
Louie has signed a new first grade contract for 2006.
Harlequins coach Brian McDermott is tipping "freak" prop Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook for a place in England's World Cup squad.[1][2]
