Hi, I've been doing work on the John Duddy (boxer) page, and I thought I would let you guys know that I have changed the John Duddy disambiguation page to automatically redirect to John Duddy (boxer). I have left the disambiguation page intact so that if you choose, you may remove the redirection tag, and restore the page to its previous state. However, I really feel that the current sate of the disambiguation page is best. In addition, there is a notice at the top of the John Duddy (boxer) page which says "This article is about John Duddy, the Irish boxer. For the Scottish murderer, see Massacre of Braybrook Street."

We reason that most of the people who search for "John Duddy" will be searching for the boxer. I also felt this change was appropriate because the John Duddy involved in the Massacre of Braybrook street does not have his own page, but is instead talked about on this page. If any of the people working on this page have any concerns over the change, please raise them in the discussion page of John Duddy (boxer)

As a frequent visitor to St James' Park, I can honestly say I've never heard anyone chant anything remotely like the two Harry songs... I have therefore removed these references awaiting someone with something to back it up. Andy C 19:17, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of Ealing Category

I have removed the Ealing category from this article, since Braybrook Street W12 is in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, and has always been in that body's predecessors. It is not nor, nor was it then, in Ealing. Chrisfow 19:23, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

VERIFYING EAST ACTON Hello...I was a child of 7 yrs old when this incident took place, living on the estate nearby, and a pupil at Old Oak School adjacent to where the killings took place. I can verify that this area is certainly known as East Acton,(East Acton tube station is nearby)and has always been within the London borough of Hammersmith. However, when asked where I come from, I often say I'm from Shepherds Bush, as the Bush is more well known than East Acton.

[edit] False claim

I've removed the text in the intro claiming:

"It is, excepting terrorist attacks, the largest mass murder of police officers in the history of the United Kingdom."

Three officers died, the same number as in the Houndsditch Murders, therefore the claim is demonstrably false. Nick Cooper (talk) 15:15, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
