Talk:Maryland Route 2

[edit] Possibility of splitting article
In north Baltimore city, Maryland Route 2 is known as "St. Paul Street" in a Southbound direction, and "Calvert Street" northbound. Both of these are a one-way pair of major streets, both of major importance, with a large number of landmarks and a lot of history. to the south of Pratt Street, they become a large, two-way street called "Light Street" that although short, is well-known as forming the western boundary of the Inner Harbor tourist area. Would it make sense to form a new, separate article titled "St. Paul Street-Calvert Street" with a redirect from "Light Street?" Sebwite 20:02, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Do a separate article or articles, but don't take away from this article. All you have to do is link to Maryland Route 2 & vice versa. You don't need to disambiguate. Also Route 2 has many other names on its course, e.g., for most of its run through Calvert County, Maryland it is known as Solomon's Island Road. clariosophic 18:17, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
