WP:BIO states regarding politicians:
- Politicians who have held international, national or sub-national (statewide/provincewide) office, and members and former members of a national, state or provincial legislature.
- Major local political figures who have received significant press coverage.
A county office is not a statewide office, so does not satisfy the first criterion. If the commissioner satisfies the second criterion, then please provide references - which should be in the article anyway. Sbowers3 (talk) 14:50, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
