[edit] First attempt at an article

I attended Marin Country Day in the sixties and have kept up on the school ever since, although not as thoroughly as I might have done. Feel free to correct/improve the article. starkt 13:47, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

I attended MCDS in the early 90s and hope to add more info to this article when I have the time.

I attended MCDS from its first year until I graduated from 8th grade in 1964. We didn't start in tents at the current location. MCDS first started in a Girl Scout Camp on the far side of Fairfax. It wasn't until the second year that we moved over to the current location and got to be in tents. The tents and the mud did make for great excuses, but I didn't have enough homework back then to really take advantage of it...24.107.119.203 20:34, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Doing a little research, I am fairly certain that the Girl Scout Camp was Camp Bothin off of Sir Francis Drake Blvd. I know we started there, but only being a first grader at the time, I'm not sure how long we were there. It could have been the whole year or maybe just the fall semester. I started first grade at MCDS and attended MCDS until I graduated from eighth grade in 1964; so I was in first grade in 1956. I am thinking, then, that Camp Bothin was just in the fall, and we got the tents in the spring.24.107.119.203 20:52, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Alumni

Somebody posted a message in the body of the article that there are no notable alumni listed. This is true. If anybody can source some notable alumni, of which I am sure there are some, please feel free to add them. Cuffeparade 18:27, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
