Marong is a town in Victoria, Australia. At the 2001 census, Marong had a population of 266.[2] It is located 17 kilometres (11 mi) kilometres to the west of Bendigo. Its local government area is the City of Greater Bendigo. The town is located at the junction of the Calder Highway (A79) and the Calder Alternate Highway (A790).
