Markaughe is a town in western Eritrea approximately 35km north-west of Barentu. It is located in Gogne District in the Gash-Barka region.
Nearby towns and villages include Antalla, Ad Casub (5.7 nm), Hambok (6.5 nm), Mescul (8.3 nm), Gonye (11.2 nm) and Tauda (12.4 nm).
