Mark Malkoff is an American comedian, writer and film maker who currently works for Comedy Central's The Colbert Report. He is a graduate of New York University and currently resides in New York City.
Mark has previously worked for Nick at Nite's Road Crew and has written for You Can't Do That On Television and has been involved in other childhood/1980s nostalgia-themed ventures as Mister Roger's Neighborhood and 1980s rock music. His writings about his Guns'N'Roses children tribute band have been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, Esquire Magazine, Spin Magazine, Guitar World, The Los Angeles Times, and the New York Post. They were also featured on the VH1 special, "Guns N'Roses A-Z."
He gained a small amount of web fame when he made a video detailing his attempt to visit all 171 Starbucks franchises in Manhattan in a single day during the summer of 2007 [1]. He is in the national news again, as he has moved into an IKEA store in Paramus, New Jersey for a week as his apartment is being fumigated [2].
