Marie D. Kassing was one of the founders of the Women's Crisis Center[1] in Salinas, California., a founder of the National Organization for Women in Monterey, Ca and has won the 1995 Outstanding Woman Honoree [2] award in Monterey County, California. She is currently Deputy Director of Sun Street Centers [3] Salinas, Ca. Marie has been involved in issues involving children and families [4]

Kassing was born on the Monterey Peninsula in California and has lived her life in Monterey County.
