Marcos Alonso

Marcos Alonso Peña is a former Spanish footballer born in Santander on 1 October 1959. He made his debut in the First Division with Real Racing Club de Santander (best known as Racing de Santander), when he was 17 years old, and later he played for Atlético Madrid and FC Barcelona. He got 22 caps for the Spain national football team. After that he was coach of several teams, including Real Zaragoza. His father, known as Marquitos played for Real Madrid in the 60's.
