[edit] Gears of War Criticism
Regarding Gears of War Criticism, please see my comments in Talk:Gears of War#Criticism. --Rodzilla 06:56, 30 December 2006 (UTC) Note I am merely posting this here as you deleted the section whilst it was in a back-and-forth struggle. I just noticed that you already posted on the talk page and as such are probably aware of the situation. Please see Wikipedia:Edit war if you are unfamiliar with the problem.
[edit] Ronaldo stats
Why do we need so many breakdowns. We especially don't need assists in the table. Kingjeff 16:24, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
You can at least combine the domestic cup stats. It's clearly too wide. Why does the table need assist? Are you going to add assists to every player stats table? Kingjeff 18:17, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Combining the domestic cup stats sounds fair enough. Why does the table not need assists? Manderiko 05:56, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Anyway I've trimmed the table -- acceptable compromise. Manderiko 06:43, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Google as a source for Vince Carter revision
The question is: has Vince Carter been called "Wince Carter" with any incidence or frequency?
The answer is: Yes, he has.
The proof is: if you do a Google search, you will see not a few but many instances of this.
By comparison, if you do a google search for "Wince Duncan" or "Wince Bryant" or "Wince Manderiko" you will not find any suggestion that such a term has been used with any frequency.
This really is simple. He has that nickname. Richard Hamilton doesn't. Gilbert Arenas doesn't. Carmelo Anthony doesn't. Vince Carter does. Why argue a simple fact? And should a simple fact NOT be reflected in an "encyclopedia"? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 208.72.4.1 (talk) 16:43, 24 April 2007 (UTC).
- You don't get it do you. People have explained to you many times to no avail, so I won't try either. Manderiko 03:49, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] wiki links...
Hello again. Sorry if i annoyed you yesterday about the wiki linking (ie, on Sydney. I think it is an important issue though, and I will look into it. It was an issue on an FAC nomination i was working on (ie, Indonesia). I don't have much time to investigate and/or discuss right now but I just wanted to drop a note to say 'no hard feelings'. I'll be in touch. kind regards and happy editing. --Merbabu 05:36, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- Sure no hard feelings. Thank you for being magnanimous. The relevant policies, if you haven't seen them before but I doubt it, are here. Happy editing. Manderiko 20:02, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chris Bosh
i think you should stop deleting my triva facts. Because there facts about Chris Bosh. Why can't you let people know more about him?
Some people may be interested in it.
So leave the stuff there.
- Some people may be interested in you stop this nonsense. Manderiko 15:56, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Talk:Halloween
- Manderikiko, without commenting on anything else in the post above, there is nothing stopping you from removing any thing from your talk page, although admittedly some editors don't like it. There is no policy against it. Talk pages are for providing messages, and the the fact that you remove it suggests you have read it. Merbabu 09:52, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- Suggests you have read it. Really? Simple example, my username is staring right at you but you spelled it wrong. Manderiko 14:46, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I'm a shit speller. My point was simple and specific - don't let anyone bully you by insisting you can't remove content from your user page. You can; in fact, if you remove content, it clearly shows you have read it. :-) That's all - i was trying to help. cheers. Merbabu 10:50, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] My RfA
Thank you for your support in my recent RfA. However, it was unsuccessful. I am in no way disheartened, and I will hopefully succeed in a month or two. If you have any further suggestions or comments, feel free to drop me a line on my talk page, and I will be happy to respond. Matt/TheFearow (Talk) (Contribs) (Bot) 02:32, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] James Milner FAC
Ok I've tried to improve the flow of the article. But for other issues I need more info before I can do anything (if I choose to do anything at all). Please see the FAC page. Buc 20:43, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- It'd be helpful if you could return to the FAC page for Milner and clarify if you're happy with Buc's amendments and are prepared to support or not. Thanks. --Dweller 08:18, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
You're obviously busy but when you have the time check this again. Buc 19:52, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

A Proposed Deletion template has been added to the article Global Vision Christian School, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of the page. B. Wolterding 17:48, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] TLA
Apologies for the style and grammatical errors in TLA.
Shouldn't a reference, even if suspicious, be shown? Wouldn't it be proper if it's clearly stated to be alleged? Palladion (talk) 16:05, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Well thank you for taking it here. You see, as far as I know, yes Wikipedia is not in the business of truth but "verifiability", but at the same time the source surely must be reliable. I take your point about qualifying it as "alleged", but I still stand by "if the ref ain't good enough it just ain't good enough". Manderiko (talk) 16:08, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] James Milner
You Opposed this articles nomination a while back due to it's prose. I wondered if you could give it another look when you can find the time. Would it be worth re-nominating. Buc (talk) 20:31, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
- Let Tony do his thing. Manderiko (talk) 15:31, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
How about giving it a look now it has just had a ce. Buc (talk) 17:08, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Last month's Collaboration of the Month, Magic Johnson was a great success. A total of 560 edits were made to the article during the month of May, and the article was eventually nominated as a Featured Article Candidate. Although the article was not promoted, it was significantly improved through the work of many editors. This month's Collaboration of the Month is Steve Nash. Although this is article is already a Good Article, it still can be improved. In particular, all prose should conform to Featured Article standards, all statements should be verified, and the text should be in a neutral point of view. If there is anything you can do to improve the article, then please help out.
The Collaborator of the Month is given to the editor with the most number of substantial, beneficial edits to the article chosen as the Collaboration of the Month. This month's Collaborator of the Month award goes to Chensiyuan (talk · contribs). Although he had previously helped Magic Johnson to became a Good article, he made literally hundreds of edits during the month of May. For his contributions, he is rewarded with the NBA Collaborator of the Month Award. However, all beneficial edits made by any editor was a help.
