[edit] personal attacks

Hi, this edit constitutes a personal attack. Please, revise it and be more civil in the future - while you may be right, you still should express it without being offensive, ok? take care Pundit|utter 00:46, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Try reading this. --Charles (talk) 10:16, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Karate

It is already mentioned in the article that karate has a chinese origin. What you said is that it is a chinese martial art, which is not true, just as it is not true that Capioera is an african martial art. It has african origins, but is South American. Also, your edit was written extremely poorly. Also, Karate means empty hand, not chinese hand. RogueNinjatalk 15:42, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] You should know what 3RR rule is.

I don't know much about the subject, so that's why I just keep watching the article instead of involving in. I agree that the other user is pushing his nationalistic POV. However, you don't also allow the user or other people to talk with you at any chance. Actually, I tried to undo the revisions by him because of violation on NPOV several times, but you were much quicker than me and you're also in danger of WP:3RR. I think you need to read the article. If you revert more than 3 times within 24 hours, you can be reported by the other or anybody on the edits and then likely blocked for 24 hours. This is a notice for precaution. If you think you need to gather more opinions from others, you can go to Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Korea or other relevant project talk pages. I hope you get a help and enjoy editing here. --Appletrees (talk) 18:40, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Three Revert Rule

Please take notice of the policy listed at WP:3RR. It is an important policy, and violations with result in a block. RogueNinjatalk 19:39, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Calm down!

As several people said, you appear to endanger or violate 3RR on the martial art articles. Unless you throw the obstinate attitude, none would listen to your voice. Before making a quick revert, please calm down and talk! And count how many reverts you have made in 24 hours. Revert includes adding something first. If you want to edit the article here, please follow rules here. --Appletrees (talk) 19:57, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] For your information in Korean

[edit] English

Look, English is obviously not your first language. However, if you want to edit on the ENGLISH wikipedia, you have to edit in ENGLISH. Your edits to Song Duk-ki DONT EVEN MAKE SENSE. THAT is why I am reverting them. If you phrased them in some way that was understandable, then I could edit or not edit them based on facts. As it stands, your edits are barely understandable. RogueNinjatalk 19:50, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Use of the word "vandal"

In response to [1]:

Please don't accuse editors of vandalism unless you're absolutely sure they have committed it. In particular, avoid using the word in edit summaries (such as "reverting vandalism"), and be very careful about posting vandalism warning templates on user's talkpages. Review the vandalism policy thoroughly before you do that, and see especially the section "What vandalism is not". Note that content disputes are not vandalism, and that good-faith edits of any kind, even if you think them misguided, are not to be considered vandalism. Vandalism accusations without any basis in policy are bad for the climate on the wiki and make constructive discussion more difficult. See WP:VAND: "If a user treats situations which are not clear vandalism as such, then it is he or she who is actually harming the encyclopedia by alienating or driving away potential editors." See also Wikipedia:Avoid the word "vandal".

[edit] Blocked

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule . Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. —Wknight94 (talk) 21:19, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image CSDs

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:8989587182 1.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:8989587182 1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. RogueNinjatalk 15:49, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Taekwondo Mediation

JLL has requested for formal mediation here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_mediation/Taekwondo

Please write "agree" on the above page if you would like to participate.

I know you're new to wikipedia so PLEASE read the rules in the help section on mediation and editing rules! You lose credibility for your position when you're not familiar with the rules.melonbarmonster (talk) 19:59, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Harry Potter

1) WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS 2) Did you even read the I7 criteria? If Harry Potter cover scans are being used for articles not on the book, those images should be deleted. RogueNinjatalk 21:31, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your images

You have to provide the information regarding the copyright status.

  • Where did you get the images? Provide internet links.
  • Who owns the image copyright?
  • What publishers did print the books?
  • Who is the author of the book?

If the book is not written by Song Duk Ki, the images have to go out of Wiki. Your example of Harry Potter covers don't fit to your case. The cover images are only shown in the articles of the book and author!. You seem to not listen to anybody's opinion. I don't think your approach is constructive. Don't delete the valid template unless you bring up the resource info.--Appletrees (talk) 21:37, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:8989587182 1.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:8989587182 1.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BorgQueen (talk) 21:45, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Reply

좋은 예로는 Image:Illuminatus1sted.jpg 을 보세요. --BorgQueen (talk) 21:53, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Copyviolation

What part of "Do not edit this page until an administrator has resolved this issue." Do you not understand? Its more than 1 sentence, and 1 sentence IS copy violation.

RogueNinjatalk 22:06, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

--Appletrees (talk) 22:23, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR warning

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Song Duk Ki. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Actually you already violated 3rr again together with the user RogueNinja. Please stop the disruption and don't accuse the other of being a vandal.--Appletrees (talk) 22:28, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "admin misjudged. first of all, it is not a vandalism. because, he did not notify vandalism to me.(he must notify first) 2nd, i arleady removed copyvio sentence(also i already removed kimsookarate.com sentence), but he rever it same way. and accuse me as vandalism. admin did not check his revert. RogueNinja is a vandalism. must block RogueNinja as RogueNinja ."

Decline reason: "No, it was edit warring and a 3RR violation. Next time the block will be longer. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 23:03, 15 January 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

first of all, it is not a vandalism. because, he did not notify vandalism to me.(he must notify first) 2nd, i arleady removed copyvio sentence(one sentence is not copyvio. but he metioned i viloate kimosskarate.com sentence. so i already removed kimsookarate.com sentence[2]), after copyvio is clear, but he rever it same way.[3] [4] and accuse me as vandalism. admin did not check his revert. RogueNinja is a vandalism. RogueNinja viloated 3rr rule. and his behavior is personal harrasement.(vandalism) must block RogueNinja. He is a 3rr viloator. [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:L9788990768094.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:L9788990768094.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.

Note: See also the rationale i wrote at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard#Non_free_image_violations for the reason I removed the one image from the article. Thanks, — Save_Us 22:46, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Things that you should keep in mind for editing safely

-Appletrees (talk) 16:59, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] April 2008

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to Yeongeunmun Gate, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

[edit] Your edit to Korean language

I do not understand the reasoning behind your edit summary "Source is unclear" on this edit [5], and have reverted you. The source is very clearly cited at the end of that sentence and the material at the top of page 13 matches the statistics presented. Please discuss at Talk:Korean language why you believe that this sourced, relevant information should not be included. cab (talk) 17:23, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
