Manuel Robles Pezuela (1817–1862) was acting President of Mexico from 1858 to 1859 on the reactionary ("conservative") side in the Mexican War of the Reform, serving by appointment of a military junta in opposition to the constitutional President, Benito Juárez.
During the War of the French Intervention, Robles was captured and shot as a traitor for siding with the invaders.[1]
