Mandyleigh Storm was born on 27 May 1972 in Southampton, England. Mandyleigh did 3 years of ballroom dancing from 8-11 years and at the same time had a stint at modeling, however, it was singing that finally won out in her mid teens.

Mandyleigh started off singing much of Barbra Streisand songs and then swiftly into all the great music of the 30s-40s-50s & 60s. Her love grew for jazz standards, gospel, soul and especially the blues.

Mandyleigh has been influenced by many a great artist. Honing in more so on John Lennon, Nick Drake, Jackie Wilson, Seal, Barbra Streisand, Sarah Vaughn, Nina Simone, George Michael, Annie Lennox, The Beatles, Coldplay and Jamiroquai.

In November 2006, Mandyleigh decided to sign up to the Dutch crowdsourcing website Sellaband. By June 2007, she was the seventh artist to raise US $50,000 from the fans, and the album, called Fire & Snow, was released March 2008.

The album was recorded in Soho, London, in November 2007, at Dean St Studio, and produced by Mick Glossop , who also worked with Van Morrison, Frank Zappa, PIL, The Waterboys, Sinead O'Connor etc etc.
