Friar Malachy of Ireland, fl. 13th/14th century?
Probable[weasel words] author of Venenum (Poison), a moral treatise, usually attributed to Robert Grosseteste. It is stated as having being written "for the instruction of simple men who have to teach the people".
Malachy may be[weasel words] identical with the franciscan, Malachy of Limerick, and unsuccessful candidate for the Archbishop of Tuam in 1280.
