The article states that the court is "known as the Law Court when sitting as an appellate court." That implies that the court has some other functions as well. If that is so they should be described in the article. If it is not so the quoted sentence should be clarified. I'd fix it but I'm in New York and don't know much about Maine procedure. Thanks. Yes they should. These would be the issuing of advisory opinions, the regulation of the bar, the issuing of rules of procedure, and other administrative functions of the Court. To make sure they're right though I'll need to take a look at the Maine Constitution again, so that will be for another day or another person.--Doug.(talk contribs) 22:27, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
