Maharaja is a 1998 Indian film directed by Anil Sharma. It tells the story of Kohinoor (Govinda) who was forced from his kingdom as a child who returns twenty years later to reclaim his rightful place. He had lived in the Himalayas for 20 years because a sleazy goofball Ranvir Singh had murdered his whole family. The family's former maid's son Ali (Raj Babbar) tells him the truth about his past and from then on, Kohinoor seeks to kill Ranvir.
