[edit] License tagging for Image:3DCubeLogo.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:3DCubeLogo.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:05, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Advertising for 3D Cube RPG/MMORPG (game)
Ok, so I will remove the link to the 3D Cube RPG/MMORPG (game) Wiki and then everything will be just fine and you can unprotect the page?
Thanks Dan HyCube - Design and Development
- No, because there are a few things you can't change. The notability issue, for example. Or the conflict of interest. On a related note, I see that you have added the {{delrev}} template to Talk:HyCube and that you've left a message at Wikipedia talk:Deletion review. Is there anything I can do to help you add a request for deletion review? Aecis Dancing to electro-pop like a robot from 1984. 21:17, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Yes, umm you could explain why the HyCube page cannot be posted so I could make the necessary changes. I have overviewed similar Wiki's and they are all of the same manner, I don't seem to understand why I am unable, if I could get a better explanation of the reasons why I am sure I could edit the page, and undo the deletion process.
- What is important here is that companies on wikipedia need to be notable. The information needs to be verifiable from reliable sources, without original research. A direct relationship between the author of the article and the subject of the article is frowned upon.
- What you might do is write an article in your userspace, for instance at User:Magicnxnja/HyCube. The following links may help you in writing a good article: Wikipedia:Five pillars, Wikipedia:How to edit a page, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Tutorial, Wikipedia:Article development, Wikipedia:Manual of Style and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view.
- When you feel that the article at User:Magicnxnja/HyCube meets all the criteria an article needs to meet, from notability to verifiability to neutrality, you may ask for a deletion review. If the review decides that the article is good enough for wikipedia, the protection will be lifted, and the article on User:Magicnxnja/HyCube will be moved to HyCube. Ok, well would you be able to execute my name change from magicnxnja to HyCube also?
Thanks, Dan HyCube - Design and Development
- I can't do that. You'll have to request a username change for that, at Wikipedia:Changing username. Aecis Dancing to electro-pop like a robot from 1984. 22:13, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Advertising for 3D Cube RPG/MMORPG (game)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. You are, however, encouraged to add appropriate content to the encyclopedia. If you feel the material in question should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Aecis Dancing to electro-pop like a robot from 1984. 18:48, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, Wikipedia:Notability (companies and corporations), Wikipedia:Autobiography and Wikipedia:Spam to see why your articles about HyCube and 3D Cube RPG/MMORPG (game) were inappropriate for wikipedia. You are welcome to contribute to other articles though. And don't worry, I didn't delete your message, I moved it to the bottom of my talk page, as I keep my messages in chronological order. - It was spam because you wrote about your own company, in clearly promotional language, of a product of which the notability was not asserted. Wikipedia:Protection policy explicitly says that "a permanent or semi-permanent protection is used for ... Protecting deleted articles that are repeatedly created." You repeatedly recreated a deleted article, and as such I was fully entitled to protect. Because of that, I will not unprotect. If you disagree with the deletion, you may ask for a deletion review. I have already said why I deleted and protected the article. But again, it was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, Wikipedia:Notability (companies and corporations), Wikipedia:Autobiography and Wikipedia:Spam. To that, the following can be added: Wikipedia is not a webspace provider and Wikipedia is not the yellow pages. It was protected in accordance with Wikipedia:Protection policy.
