Talk:MAG3 scan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Name
As per WP:Naming, abbreviations are permitted where "almost exclusively known only by its abbreviation and is widely known and used in that form". As such name used is not "Mag 3" but in capitals and with no separating space, i.e. "MAG3" (whilst technically the substance used is Tc-99m MAG3, it is only ever refered to by most doctors as a MAG3 scan). I shall therefore move the article from Mag 3 scan to MAG3 scan. David Ruben Talk 03:25, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
