Maggie Strobbe

Maggie Strobbe is a Belgian woman who, in collaboration with her common-law husband Luc de Winne, murdered their two children in a hotel room in Aalst in January 1999. Their subsequent arrest and trial created a media sensation in Belgium. The two were sentenced to life imprisonment.
The story of their crime was the basis of the play Aalst.
