Luc de Winne

Luc de Winne is a Belgian man who, in collaboration with his common-law wife Maggie Strobbe, murdered their two children in a hotel room in Aalst in January 1999. Their subsequent arrest and trial created a media sensation in Belgium. The two were sentenced to life imprisonment.
The story of their crime was the basis of the play Aalst.
