Maesteg Comprehensive School (Welsh: Ysgol Gyfun Maesteg) is a comprehensive school situated in the town of Maesteg in the South Wales Valleys of south-eastern Wales.

Ms. A. Carhart is the current Headteacher.

It is currently split into two campuses. One named lower school and one upper school. In September 2008 the school will be moving into a combined campus with a newly developed school costing £17,000,000.

In December 2005, Sarah Bryant, a Drama teacher at the school died on her way home due to a car accident. Her former students still attend the school.

The schools GCSE success rate is 40% achieving A*-C grades.

Staff Meeting 8.30-8.44 All teaching staff attend.
Lesson One 8.45-9.44 This is the first lesson prior to the morning staff meetings, here the first of the six daily registers will take place. This ensures there is an up to date register of all pupils on the property hourly. Students who may not be timetabled or who are absent for this,must sign in via Pupil reception.
Lesson Two 9.45-10.44 Second Registration during the lesson.
Break 10.45 -11.04
Lesson Three 11.05 -12.04 Third Registration during the lesson.
Lesson Four 12.05 - 12.59 Fourth registration takes place
Lunch Break 1.00-1.44
Lesson Five 1.45 -2.44 Fith registration takes place
Registration 2.45 - 3.15 All pupils return to their form groups, mark the final registration. Each form group will have an individual assembly, or a collective year assembley.
