I'm interested in keeping this active. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.153.43.38 (talk) 01:41, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Is anybody else interested in keeping this active?

I'm writing articles for individual M*A*S*H episodes as I (re-)watch them, maybe others could do the same. Naturally, the last few seasons that don't have DVDs out yet will take awhile unless someone gets them from syndication.

I've got a few friends and relatives who are big M*A*S*H fans, too--I'll be trying to bring them over here and help out, and maybe they'll turn out to be big contributors to Wikipedia as a whole. Kurt Weber 7 July 2005 02:22 (UTC)

I've been slowly working on it by writing the first season's episodes. I've updated the portal on occasion to change the article or picture, etc. Gorrister 7 July 2005 10:17 (UTC)
OK. I don't know how familiar you are with the alt.tv.mash newsgroup; it's fairly active and has many knowledgeable participants (including Larry Gelbart himself). I may ask around on there and see if anyone's interested in helping. Kurt Weber 7 July 2005 16:27 (UTC)
The more the merrier!! Gorrister 7 July 2005 16:31 (UTC)
I don't have a ton of time on my hands, but I'd be interested in helping out to keep this portal up and running. I'm a long time M*A*S*H fan, and would like to help however I can. I have some friends who live right near Paramount Ranch, so maybe I can talk them into hiking the two miles into the mountains and finding any kind of relics left behind? Anyway, hello to everybody. What is needed from us to keep this thing alive?--TDIGuy 20:56, 18 October 2005 (UTC)
I'll happily keep this going, (time permitting, of course) as there are a few episodes I'd like to write articles on. -- Sarsaparilla39 09:42, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

The featured pic is now the final scene of GFA. I got sick to death of Winchester. -- Sarsaparilla39 10:52, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Film

This project seems to be slanted mostly towards the TV show. I would like to see more about the ground breaking film of the same name.--Rogerd 01:01, August 14, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Monster M*A*S*H

If anyone's still here, there's a Wikicity on M*A*S*H. It needs all the help it can get; currently it's a Kurt Weber-and-I project. Monster M*A*S*H link - Sarsaparilla39 21:31, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Complete and utter re-do

Even though I seem to be talking to myself here, I wish to announce that this Portal is now undergoing a re-do, courtesy of yours truly. If anyone wishes to help, please do so. (I have also designated myself "unofficial maintainer." If anyone objects, dop me a line.) The FA is now Frank Burns and a selecion of quotes are now also posted for your laughing pleasure. Happy M*A*S*H watching, Sarsaparilla39 03:01, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject M*A*S*H?

Come ON, people, convince me I'm not talking to myself. I've put up a proposed M*A*S*H WikiProject. View at User:Sarsaparilla39/WikiProject M*A*S*H and the proposal at Wikipedia:Wikiproject/List_of_proposed_projects#M*A*S*H. PLEASE join up, or something!! -- Sarsaparilla39 23:58, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I also recently created a proposal for a M*A*S*H Wikiproject. If anyone is interested. JpGrB 16:52, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Moved to Category:Portals under construction

I've been moving portals under construction out of Category:Portals. This portal got moved because it is had a red link for a section: Portal:M*A*S*H/M*A*S*H news. If you fix this, please move it back to the Portals category. —Doug Bell talkcontrib 08:14, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion

Why, specifically is this page being deleted? I can't see anything that doesn't comply with Wikipedia's deletion ploicy.

[edit] M*A*S*H fan (TV series) who is willing to help

I seem to be a day late and a dollar short here, but I grew up watching M*A*S*H and I've seen every episode far too many times to count. I used to quote lines so regularly my friends didn't want me around any more. I still remember watching the final episode, "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen", and wondering what life would be like without the show. Well, life went on, and eventually the Internet filled the M*A*S*H void.

Now I'm a (newbie) Wikipedian, and I'm willing to get involved in a few projects. I don't have a lot of time myself, and I still have a LOT to learn (all I've been doing is some limited copyediting and fixing a typo here and there), but I'd love to help out with anything M*A*S*H-related. Contact info is on my Userpage. Hurrmic 23:55, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Anybody got a clip?

Hi! I'm new to the whole M*A*S*H thing, (I just started watching the reruns on TV Land a couple of weeks ago). I LOVE this show! But I'm a little upset that my age has gotten in the way of my being able to grow up with M*A*S*H, (I'm a relatively young teen who hates almost everything that airs on TV.) I'd really like to see that clip of The Carol Burnett Show, the one where Blake shows up shouting "I'm Ok!" If anyone knows how to put a clip onto YouTube or something and link it to this page, I'd be much obliged. Thanks in advance! (P.S. – I left this same message on Henry Blake's talk page). [edit] The Fighting Nightengales

Recently I have been made aware of a series pilot for a spin off of M*A*S*H called The Fighting Nightengales, yet I can not find out any more than that. I have Googled this and have come up nearly empty. The only place I have found a minor mention of it is on Yahoo!, and they don't list that it is a spin off of M*A*S*H. Could someone tell me if this is correct? My information could be wrong. - LA @ 10:01, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
