[edit] Mícheál Ó Cléirigh

There is no contemporary record of Ó Cléirigh under the former name of this article. Anglicising just for the sake of it is insulting us all. Ó Cléirigh is almost invariably known by his Irish name in English, and that distinguishes him. For the most high profile example of this today see the Mícheál Ó Cléirigh Institute in UCD: http://www.ucd.ie/mocleirigh/rebrandtest.htm El Gringo 23:05, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

I've added the Anglicized version "Michael O’Clery" because there is no mention of it. No insult or political reason intended ;o) Jalipa (talk) 21:58, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
